The scent: Honey Tobacco is warm, evocative, and curious. Sweetness grounded with an earthy, musky base that is reminiscent of buttery vanilla, tonka bean, peppercorn, and dusk. As a body wash, the scent is a little brighter, colder in the bottle but warms and opens to its true nature with the warmth of the water. The formula: Most body washes strip your skin's natural moisture barrier and leave you reaching for lotion before you've even dried off. This one doesn't. The surfactants are coconut-derived — gentle enough to clean without disrupting your skin's pH, which sits naturally around 4.5–5.5. Ours is formulated to 7 without dilution, so once it's added to your warm water it will stay within a targeted range, so your skin isn't working to recover after every shower. Pro-vitamin B5 (panthenol) pulls moisture into the skin and helps it stay there. Aloe vera extract calms and soothes. Squalane adds a layer of moisture that stays with you. It works as a hand wash, body wash, or bubble bath — and it lathers better with a loofah because natural surfactants are different from synthetic ones, which is worth knowing.
